ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE
We all know someone who has suffered with Dementia. Alzheimer's is a build up of proteins in the brain to form structures called 'Plaques' and 'tangles'. This leads to the loss of connections between nerve cells and eventually to the death of nerve cells and loss of brain tissue..
When there is a shortage of them, the signals are not transmitted as effectively. Current treatments for Alzheimer's Disease can help boost the levels of chemical messengers in the brain. |

CANDIDA (YEAST)
What is Candida? It is a fungus, which is a form of yeast.
Very small amounts of it live in your mouth and intestines. It's job is to aid digestion and nutrient absorption but, when overproduced, candida breaks down the wall of the intestine and penetrates the bloodstream releasing toxic by products into your body and causing leaky gut.
This can lead to many health problems ranging from digestive problems to depression.
Thrives and survives on sugar, therefore sugars and sugar-producing carbohydrates must be eliminated from your diet. |
